Our Products
Our goal is to connect gardeners of all levels with the best quality and selection of plant material.
We carry hundreds of varieties of ornamental trees, fruit trees, roses, and rhododendrons as well as many other unique specimens. We continually update our stock and grow much of our stock in on-site greenhouses. During the gardening season, we bring in new stock daily! We guarantee that our plants are healthy, properly identified, and will establish with proper planting and care.
Seeds, Bulbs, & Propagation Materials.
Sowing seeds is less expensive than buying individual plants. We carry a large selection of flower and vegetable seeds and have everything you need to start growing—seed trays and domes, starter soils, heating mats, growing lights, and more! We also carry a wide variety of bulbs for blooming at different times of the year.
Fertilizers & Soil.
Investing in soil health leads to flourishing plants. We carry quality soil lines and amendments to build healthy soil. We advise customers on fertilizer products to meet the needs of their plants and tailor our fertilizer recommendations based on seasonal need or identified deficiencies.
Fruit Trees.
We’re probably biased, but we think that homegrown taste outcompetes store-bought varieties any day. We only sell varieties that do well in our climate and our informative tags let you know when these plants require pollinators or if they are self-fertile.
Small Fruits.
Grow your own produce and preserves! Small fruits are also an excellent way to introduce children to plants and gardening.
Annuals & Perennials.
Annuals & perennials are a surefire way to add colour and fun to any garden. We carry both tried-and-true varieties as well as unusual varieties, or varieties new to the trade. Indoor Plants.
Create a garden utopia in your home! House plants improve indoor air quality and bring a touch of green to your living space. We carry houseplants for all types of light and living conditions.
Japanese Maples.
Japanese Maples are essential for every woodland garden. They provide exceptional foliage most of the year (Spring-Fall) and have beautiful autumn colour. They come in many shapes and forms, from weeping to columnar. We carry 1 gallon to 25 gallon sizes and have more than 100 different varieties regularly in stock. Ornamental Trees.
We have a tree for every garden and site. We carry a large selection of ornamental trees including varieties like Dogwood, Flowering Cherry, Magnolia, Redbud, Maple, Oak, Gingko, Hawthorn, Sweetgum, Tulip Tree, and more! Ornamental trees are an excellent way to bring wildlife into your garden, to add a focal point to your space, to provide shade in summer months, and to add multiple seasons of interest.
Shrubs.
We have a superior selection of shrubs for every soil type, moisture level, and level of exposure. Whether you are looking for something low-maintenance, drought tolerant, or deer resistant, or you are looking for a garden gem for a plant collector’s garden, we carry both tried-and-true varieties and new introductions.
Hedging.
Hedging plants provide privacy boundaries, keep animals contained, and act as important habitats for wildlife. We have a superior selection of hedging to suit your garden needs.
Conifers.
Conifers are a great way to add interest to a winter garden, Japanese-style garden, or West Coast-inspired garden. They also add privacy and many varieties are deer resistant. We carry varieties that range from mature heights of 1 feet to 100 ft.
Rhododendrons.
With their evergreen glossy foliage and unbeatable flowering in the spring, we love suggesting this quintessential Pacific Northwest plant. We carry a great selection of tried-and-true varieties and have organized them by colour to help you select the right plant. Our informative signage also indicates size and preferred light levels to make your choice as easy as possible.
Native Plants.
Native plants are an excellent way to transition a garden from formal to wild. They also help add habitat to a garden and provide food for wildlife, not to mention they are already well-suited to local climates. We carry a variety of plants native to the following Vancouver Island ecosystems: Garry Oak Meadow, Coastal Douglas Fir, and Coastal Western Hemlock. Vegetables.
Nothing beats homegrown vegetables! Not only does growing your own vegetables increase your family’s food security, it is also a great way to introduce the next generation to gardening. Our in-house grown vegetable selection uses organic growing methods and we have selected varieties that thrive in our Pacific Northwest climate.
Water Plants & Pond Supplies.
We carry all sorts of plants to beautify your pond: Lilies, Cannas, Grasses, and more. We also have a huge selection of pumps and accessories for ponds of all sizes.
Pots & Planters.
We carry indoor and outdoor pots in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, colours, and designs. We also stock beautiful locally-made cedar planters (either square or oblong).
Garden Tools.
Whether you need digging tools, pruners, rakes, hoses, or other hand tools, we have the right equipment to help you get the job done. Felco, Holland, Corona, and Niwaki are just a few of the brands we carry in-store.

Our retail centre has everything you need for the gardener on your list. We carry a beautiful selection of giftware, décor, books, and other garden accents.
