Dinter Nursery is located in the beautiful Cowichan
Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The
nursery is a 45 minute drive north of Victoria and 5 km
south of Duncan just off the Island Highway.
Fall is a
great time for planting. Conditions are cooler and the
recent rains have reduced the drought stress on plants.
The warm soil encourages establishment of roots on new
plants. With this head start, plants will be
further ahead next spring. We also have lots of
plants for winter colour such as mums, pansies,
and flowering kale.

Spring
flowering bulbs can be planted as soon
as space is available from the removal of
annuals. We still have a good selection of bulbs.
However, bulb season finishes by mid-November. Bulbs must be in the ground
before winter arrives. If you have a major landscape project costing over
$1,000. some of it may qualify for the 'Home Renovation
Tax Credit'. Click
