Dinter Nursery is located in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The nursery is a 45 minute drive north of Victoria and 5 km south of Duncan just off the Island Highway.
The outdoor displays are in winter mode with the more tender plants in the protective greenhouses. A good supply of plants are available but we may have to bring them out from their winter storage locations.
West Coast Seeds has shipped their seeds and they are ready for you to browse in the comfort of the store. Near the seed racks are accessories such as trays, starter soil, mini-greenhouses and grow lights. We expect all our seed companies to have shipped by late January.
For pruning and yard clean up, we have a great selection of tools, to fit any budget. Fruit trees should be pruned now and when finished, sprayed with our dormant spray to remove any overwintering pests.
Della our Greenhouse Manager, has provided information on Starting Seeds found under the Della's Tips tab on the left. Della has also provided the list of unusual and interesting Tomatoes for 2012 that we are growing in our own greenhouses this spring - click on the Greenhouse tab on the left.

Our gift certificates are a very popular gift for any occasion. We can mail gift certificates or hold them for pick-up at the store. To order a gift certificate, phone us at 250 748-2023 during business hours with credit card information and we can immediately issue the gift certificate.
